Interestingly, Valencia and Fornnax’s story also started 4 years back. It was when Mr. ParasBarasara, CEO of Valencia Rubber Tech LLP, started searching about tyre recycling over the internet. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and wanted to set up a business in partnership with his cousins. The idea of TDF Chips product plant of 2015 expanded into the largest tyre recycler plant.

So, it’s been 5 years when Valencia contracted with Fornnax to buy recycling equipment. The company wanted to take hold of the opportunity to sale TDF Chips in the local continuous pyrolysis plant. Valencia was already in the final discussion with a German Manufacturer when they met Mr. JigneshKundariya, the Director of Fornnax. Mr. Jignesh invited Valencia company’s CEO to ‘India Rubber Expo and Tyre Show 2015’ where he presented them the ‘Fornnax Recycling Equipment.’ Here, Mr. JigneshKundariya asked Valencia CEO to compare the German Equipment/Plant specifications and prices with that of Fornnax equipment prices and specifications. This is where the business relationship started.

Choosing Fornnax - How it all started!
“When we were about to enter into a contract with a German manufacturer, we met Mr. JigneshKundaria, Director of Fornnax. Here, Fornnax presented us with 0.8 to 4mm full tyre recycling crumb rubber line in two phase instead of only 20-30 mm steel free chips plant. We appreciate the company for understanding our manufacturing requirements, getting the raw material, and selling of the output product. Fornnax even tailored the whole process in two stages for us from getting the raw material to the selling of the output product.This made Valencia start a business relationship with Fornnax Rubber Mulch Plant, including Secondary Shredder R-2000, Conveying, Vibration, and Over band magnetic Separation System,with an Input Size of 150mm and Output Size of 20-30 mm Steel Free Rubber Mulch.It possesses an input capacity of 3-4 tons/hour” says the CEO of Valencia.
He further added, “We chose Fornnax for its equipment specification, as they were similar to the German Equipment. Moreover, Fornnax’s price was less than 50% compared to the German manufacturer’s price, but Quality and Technology were 100% similar to the German company. In addition to this, Fornnax helped our company to get an import license from MOEF.”

Creating Expansion Plans with Fornnax
Mr. Ashok Kagathara, MD Valencia Rubber Tech LLP, entered the selling market with the support from Fornnax as the TDF chip product became successful in 2016. These 98% steel-free chips are sold to Pyrolysis Plants and Cement industries. In 2016, Mr. JigneshKundariya also suggested a huge market for Crumb Rubber Granules of 0.8 to 4mm size that is steel and fiber-free. So, the Valencia team decided to add the full Fornnax’s ‘Tyre Recycling Crumb Rubber Plant CRM-3000,’ which churns 3 tons/hour to their production. The expansion plant includes two Granulator TR-1400 along with Infeed Conveyor, Pneumatic Conveying Systems, Classifier, Drum Magnet, Fiber Separation table, De-Stoner, Grading Screen, and PLC Panel. This plant producing 0.8 to 4mm sized Crumb Rubber Granules that are 99.9% fiber and steel-free.

Sharing Expansion Story of TDF Chips Production Plant
Valencia Rubber Tech LLP, after getting huge success in ‘Tyre Recycling Crumb Rubber Line,’ it initiated its steps towards installing the industry’s biggest TDF Chips Production Plant. For this, they acquired Fornnax’s Secondary Shredder R-4000 to produce 20-30 mm size TDF Chips at 6 tons/hour, and these are 98% steel free too.
By the year 2019, Valencia became the biggest Fornnax customer in Gujarat by acquiring their first Tyre Recycling equipment in 2015,two more equipments in 2017, and Rubber Mulch Plant in December 2019.

Taking On The Future With Fornnax
Mr. Ashok shares the future vision, “He says that the future of Tyre Recycling is in the hands of end-users that depend on the outputs like rubber mulch/chips, granulates, and liberated steel. In the last few years, it’s been seen that the use of recycled rubber granulates in molded products has been increased. It is often used in the artificial sports field, so recyclers are supplying them mainly for molded products. Even the tyre-derived product Bitumen powder can be used in Asphalt.”
Valencia is already producing 15,000 tons of Crumb Rubber from the Tyre Granulation and Separation techniques. With Fornnax’s Rubber Mulch Plant R-4000, the Company is also looking forward to produce 30,000 tons of TDF Chips by the year 2020.
