Dashmesh Rubber Industries Private Limited is a 15-year-old company that reaps an annual turnover of 100 crores since its inception. It was founded by Shri. Rajinder Singh Popli and his son Mr. Amritpal Singh Popli, who first started manufacturing the Rubber Crumb Powder in 2005 at their unit in Daman. It was established with the name M/S A.K. Rubber.

In the year 2009, Dashmesh Rubber started with their journey of manufacturing Whole Tyre Reclaim Rubber at Sarigam. Mr. Amritpal Singh Popli, the Owner and MD of Dashmesh Rubber Products, is involved with the company since its establishment. The two companies Dashmesh Rubber Industries Private Limited and M/S A.K. Rubber, were founded to explore great marketing opportunities and on curiosity lines. Dashmesh Rubber carries out recycling of the end-of-life tyres to turn them into powders of various sizes. These powders are further processed into Rubber Matting and Reclaim Rubber Sheets. While production, various types, and sizes of rubber powder from 30 mesh to 120 mesh are being used. The company is already having two Plants. In their First Plant, Dashmesh Rubber was using Radial Truck Tyres as an input to make rubber powder to produce reclaimed rubber sheets further. In Plant-2, Company was using nylon Truck Tyres as an input to make rubber powder to manufacture reclaim rubber sheets. For further expansion of their Rubber Plant and achieving business flexibility, Dashmesh Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd. was looking forward to installing the turnkey high capacity Tyre Recycling Application Plant. They were looking for suppliers who can provide equipment based on easy maintenance, power-efficient, and low level of downtime. Dashmesh Rubber Products being in this line for years together, have heard about Fornnax Machinery that produces Crumb Rubber Granules and Rubber Mulch in Gujarat. In the year 2018, very few companies were selling complete tyre recycling plants. Thus, by comparing Fornnax to other market players according to their equipment features, it turned out to be a market leader. Dashmesh Rubber Product - An Ambitious Plan to Expand with Fornnax
Dashmesh Rubber Products is one of the popular Recycler with an experienced team to handle various departments. Like raw materials purchase department, production team for higher productivity, sales department to sell the output materials, and to find buyers for the expansion of the company. With an efficient team onboard, Dashmesh Rubber Products started with The TDF Chip Production in 2018. Dashmesh entered in the market with the support from Fornnax and sold TDF chips that are 98% Steel Free. Dashmesh Rubber Products is selling 30 MT/Day to Continuous Pyrolysis Plants and Cement Industries. The detailed conversation with the buyers showed that there is a huge market for the Cleaned Steel and TDF Chips. But, Secondary Shredder R-1000 may not be sufficient for this.

Dashmesh Rubber Products decided to purchase the industry's highest capacity Secondary Shredder R-4000, for Tyre Recycling with an Input capacity of 6 tons/hour. The company also converted the R-1000 in Steel Cleaning Plant by modifying it with the help of Fornnax. Although Dashmesh Rubber Products has an experienced production manager who had an experience of 10 years to operate the European Plants, he faced problems like machinery wear and tear and acquiring spare parts from the market. This lead to downtime and all the problems related to the types of machinery were explained to Fornnax’s team in CBPD or Customer-Based Product Development Process. The problems included occasional damage of the rotor blade holder, screen jamming, wear of rotor bolt, and problem with maintenance bolt for cutting chamber. Fornnax kept all these things in mind and solved it in their next order of Secondary Shredder R-4000.

Mr. Suresh Singh, Production Manager at Dashmesh Rubber Products, cites, “I had a great time sitting with the engineering team of Fornnax as they list down the suggestions and changes told. There was a Fornnax machine having a capacity of 2 tons/hour, but Dashmesh Rubber products were facing problems related to fixed bolts to open the cutting chamber. It consumed more downtime. Fornnax’s team heard about good things and implemented a new design of replacing the I-Bolts instead of the fixed bolts in their new machinery. This machinery was R-4000 with a capacity of 6 tons/hour and brought forth the changes that result in reducing the maintenance cost and downtime. It’s excellent to be included in the evaluation and designing process.”

So, Dashmesh Rubber Products expanded the Rubber Mulch Plant in the year 2019 by installing new Fornnax’s Machinery, giving an output of 6 tons/hour. It includes the Secondary Shredder R-4000 with PLC Panel, Conveying, and Magnetic Separation System, giving an Input size of 150mm and Output size of 20-30 mm Steel Free Rubber Mulch. The Dashmesh Rubber sales team also stated that there is a great market for cleaned steel instead of liberated steel from Tyre Recycling. The price offered was also great, so Dashmesh Rubber Products has converted their R-1000 Fornnax’s Steel Cleaning System by modifying it and got it attached with Drum magnet, Steel Cleaner, etc. This machine started the Steel Cleaning Process liberated from Secondary Shredder R-4000 that produces 100 MT/Day Steel Free Rubber Mulch.

After-Sales Support Service by Fornnax
Acquiring a complete Tyre Recycling Plant is a larger investment. Mr. Amritpal Singh understands the significance of maintenance of machinery and the minimizing of downtime. Along with ordering equipment, Dashmesh Rubber Products also ordered spare parts like wear plates, blades, screens, and an annual service contract. Mr. Suresh Singh appreciated the support of Fornnax representative Milan Kundariya. Mr. Suresh says, “In technical matter, Milan Kundariya has always provided the support who is the After-sales Service Head. Mr. Milan is just a call away to provide maintenance support for the plant. Fornnax provided wear and tear parts within 24-hours for all the delivered machines. This is an important trust factor that helps us to run the plant 24x7 without any type of breakdown.”

Mr. Amritpal Singh, MD of Dashmesh Rubber Products, states, “We earn money when the equipment is in production. It is important to keep minimum downtime by serving the equipment according to the provided schedule and using genuine spare parts. While ordering new equipment, we sign a service contract. Dashmesh Rubber Products - Expansion Plan with Fornnax’s TDF to Crumb Rubber Production
In 2019, Dashmesh Rubber Products was the largest TDF Chips supplier in India as their Fornnax’s Rubber Mulch Plant R-4000 was producing 100 MT/Day Steel Free Chips. After getting success with the Tyre Recycling Rubber Mulch Plant, Mr. Amritpal Singh, the decision-maker for Dashmesh Rubber, suggested his team to expand further in the same field.

After a wide research, the company added Fornnax’s full Tyre Recycling Crumb Rubber Plant. Dashmesh is already having a huge market in Tyre Recycling and Crumb Rubber Granules that they manufacture of 0.8 to 4 mm in size and are Steel and Fiber free. The Rubber Granules produced by Dashmesh Rubber Products are used for producing recreational and sports objects, and the artificial sports field.

For manufacturing, the company considers factors like endurance, flexibility, heath, low abrasion, and environmental factors. In February 2020, Dashmesh finalized the Tyre Recycling Crumb Rubber Line (CRM-1500), giving 1.5 tons/hour.
