Fornnax Technology, a leading manufacturer of industrial shredding solutions, has officially appointed NOBAMaschinenservice’s Mr. Lukas Baur as its authorized service partner for the European Union region. The partnership was signed under the authorization of Fornnax CEO Mr. Jignesh Kundaria and marks an important milestone in the company’s ongoing commitment to providing reliable, on-ground technical support to its expanding European customer base.
A Partner with Extensive Industry Knowledge
Mr. Lukas Baur carries more than two decades of hands-on experience in the maintenance, servicing, and complete overhaul of industrial shredders. His areas of expertise include welding, hard facing, shaft and knives rebuilding, complex assembly, hydraulics, and full electrical engineering services, the latter handled in coordination with a trusted partner company based in Halle/Saale. Based in Worbis, Germany, Mr. Baur is ideally located to reach EU customers within 24 hours during emergencies, covering a service radius of approximately 1,000 kilometres.
In terms of operational capacity, Mr. Baur’s team is equipped with 12 Mercedes Sprinter service vans, 24 skilled technicians, specialised bearing-change tooling, a fully equipped hydraulic workshop, and a 1,000 square metre facility featuring a 5-ton crane track. This infrastructure ensures the team is fully prepared to meet the complete scope of Fornnax’s European service requirements.
A Well-Considered Decision to Partner with Fornnax
Mr. Baur has spent years specialising in Eldan, Lindner, and Vecoplan shredders across the European recycling industry, and his choice to enter into a partnership with Fornnax reflects a clear-eyed reading of market dynamics. Through this experience, he has developed a thorough understanding of what plant operators genuinely need from both a machine and the team supporting it. Upon encountering Fornnax’s reputation for robust construction, superior wear protection, and accessible maintenance design, the alignment was immediately apparent.
The European tyre recycling sector is currently facing significant structural headwinds. Cost pressures, shrinking margins, deferred capital investment, and a persistent shortage of skilled labour have created a challenging environment for plant operators. Mr. Baur views these conditions as motivation to invest in a partnership that offers genuine technical depth and rapid response capabilities.
For Mr. Baur, Fornnax represents more than just another OEM. It is a brand that combines strong price-performance with the ambition to lead in its segment. In his own words: “Fornnax, with its exceptional price-performance ratio and superior quality, has the potential to become a market leader in Europe. We would like to be their service partner in this journey.”
Scope of Services Under the Partnership
As an authorized service partner, Mr. Baur will oversee the complete service lifecycle for Fornnax equipment across the EU. This includes installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and spare parts supply across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical domains. Looking further ahead, Mr. Baur aims to develop into a central spare parts distribution hub for Fornnax’s European customers, particularly if Fornnax establishes a warehouse presence in Worbis to enable faster order fulfilment.
The growth trajectory is equally ambitious. Mr. Baur plans to add two to three additional service teams and vehicles each year, steadily increasing coverage and capacity across the continent.
A Common Commitment to Customer Excellence
Commenting on the strategic significance of this partnership, Mr. Jignesh Kundaria, Director and CEO of Fornnax, said: “We strongly believe that by continuously improving our service quality and customer satisfaction index, we can build long-term relationships with our customers. Higher customer satisfaction leads to greater trust, which significantly increases repeat orders and ultimately drives sustained growth in our sales revenue.”
This principle is central to Fornnax’s decision to build a dedicated service partner network across Europe rather than depending solely on remote support. With Mr. Baur now formally part of that network, European customers gain faster response times, expert technical assistance, and a partner who understands the real demands of high-throughput shredding operations.
Mr. Baur’s appointment is a reflection of Fornnax’s broader ambition to become the preferred shredding solution provider across the European recycling industry, and this partnership represents a meaningful step toward that goal.
