Manager – Corporate Compliance & Legal Affairs

Roles & Responsibility

1. Corporate Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance standards
  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks, policies, and SOPs
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely organizational alignment


2. Legal Advisory & Risk Management

  • Provide legal guidance to management on business decisions and risks
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks
  • Safeguard company interests through proactive legal strategies


3. Contract Management & Documentation

  • Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, and legal documents
  • Standardize contract templates and approval processes
  • Ensure legal compliance in all commercial transactions


4. Litigation & Dispute Management

  • Handle legal cases, disputes, and claims
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and authorities
  • Track litigation status and maintain legal MIS

 

5. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with corporate laws, labour laws, and industry regulations
  • Manage filings, licenses, registrations, and statutory documentation
  • Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies


6. Policy Framework & Internal Controls

  • Develop and enforce internal policies, code of conduct, and compliance controls
  • Drive awareness and training on compliance and ethics
  • Strengthen internal audit and governance mechanisms


7. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with HR, finance, sales, and operations teams
  • Ensure legal and compliance alignment across functions
  • Support business expansion with compliant frameworks


8. Compliance Audits & Reporting

  • Lead internal and external compliance audits
  • Prepare compliance dashboards and reports for management
  • Ensure audit readiness and timely closure of observations
    teams
