1. Role Objective

The Head – Finance & Corporate Control will be responsible for building a strong, system-driven, and governance-focused finance function for FORNNAX’s new 23-acre advanced manufacturing facility.

This role is critical in establishing financial discipline, designing robust SOPs, ensuring compliance, and driving profitability and cost control across the organization. The position will act as a key strategic partner to management by enabling data-driven decision-making, strengthening internal controls, and supporting FORNNAX’s aggressive growth and expansion plans.

The role will build the entire finance backbone of the organization, including policies, systems, reporting frameworks, and control mechanisms aligned with global standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Finance System, Policy & SOP Development (Core Mandate)

• Design and implement comprehensive finance systems, policies, and governance frameworks

• Develop an end-to-end Finance SOP Manual covering:

  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)

  • Capex approval processes

  • Budgetary control systems

  • Expense approval hierarchies

  • Credit control policies

  • Vendor payment cycles

  • Cash management frameworks

• Establish strong internal controls and approval mechanisms across departments

• Build a fully system-driven and audit-ready finance function

B. Financial Planning & Control

• Lead the annual budgeting process and departmental allocations

• Drive monthly variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual)

• Manage cash flow planning and forecasting

• Conduct detailed profitability analysis at product and project levels

• Support strategic financial planning aligned with growth targets

C. Management Reporting & MIS

• Develop and publish monthly MIS dashboards for management

• Prepare:

  • Project profitability reports

  • Sales margin analysis

  • Department-wise cost tracking

  • Working capital dashboards

  • Cash flow reports

• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and decision relevance of all reports

D. Cost Control & Margin Governance

• Implement cost monitoring systems across manufacturing and operations

• Drive product costing, BOM validation, and project margin tracking

• Monitor inventory valuation and cost absorption

• Enforce expense discipline across departments

• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality

E. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

• Strengthen receivables and payables management cycles

• Develop and enforce strict credit control policies

• Monitor inventory from a financial perspective

• Optimize working capital utilization

• Manage banking relationships, funding, and liquidity planning

F. Compliance & Corporate Governance

• Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

• Manage GST, Income Tax, and all financial audits

• Implement strong internal control and audit frameworks

• Drive corporate governance and risk management practices

• Ensure complete financial transparency and discipline

G. ERP / SAP Implementation & Finance Digitalization

• Lead ERP (SAP or equivalent) finance module implementation

• Automate accounting, reporting, and control processes

• Integrate finance systems with sales, procurement, and operations

• Drive digital transformation in the finance function

• Ensure real-time visibility of financial data

H. Finance Team Building & Leadership

• Build and structure a high-performance finance team

• Define clear roles, KRAs, KPIs, and accountability systems

• Drive team capability development and succession planning

• Establish a culture of discipline, ownership, and accuracy

• Strengthen coordination with all departments for effective financial control

I. Strategic Contribution (Critical for Growth Phase)

• Act as a strategic finance partner to the leadership team

• Support decision-making for expansion, capex, and investments

Experience

• Strong experience in financial control, costing, and compliance

• Proven experience in building finance systems and SOPs from scratch

• Experience in plant setup, expansion, or high-growth environments preferred
