Roles & Responsibility

1. Role Objective

The Head – Human Capital & Organization Development will be responsible for building and leading a strong, scalable, and performance-driven HR function for FORNNAX’s new 23-acre advanced manufacturing facility.

This role is critical in shaping the organization’s culture, strengthening leadership capability, ensuring operational discipline, and building a future-ready workforce aligned with FORNNAX’s aggressive growth plans and global ambitions.

The position will drive end-to-end HR strategy covering talent acquisition, organization design, performance management, industrial relations, and HR transformation to support high-capacity manufacturing operations.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. HR Strategy, Organization Development & Governance (Core Mandate)

  • Define and implement HR strategy aligned with business growth and expansion plans

  • Drive organization structure, manpower planning, and succession planning across departments

  • Establish HR policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks

  • Build a disciplined, system-driven HR environment across plant and corporate functions

B. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead leadership hiring and recruitment for critical positions across functions

  • Develop a strong talent pipeline, including campus and lateral hiring strategies

  • Ensure timely manpower availability aligned with plant expansion and production needs

  • Strengthen employer branding to attract high-quality talent

C. Performance Management & Capability Development

  • Implement KPI/KRA-driven performance management systems across all levels

  • Drive appraisal cycles, performance reviews, and bell curve implementation

  • Build leadership development programs and succession pipelines

  • Identify training needs and implement structured capability development initiatives

D. Industrial Relations, Compliance & Legal

  • Ensure full compliance with labour laws (Factories Act, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, etc.)

  • Handle statutory audits, inspections, and liaison with government authorities

  • Manage industrial relations, legal cases, and disciplinary processes

  • Maintain a stable, disciplined, and harmonious work environment

E. Shop Floor HR & Plant Operations Support

  • Drive discipline, safety, 5S culture, and productivity on the shop floor

  • Manage contract labour, attendance systems, and workforce deployment

  • Ensure smooth plant operations through effective manpower utilization

  • Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency and reduce manpower-related issues

F. Compensation, Payroll & Cost Optimization

  • Oversee payroll, attendance systems, and statutory benefits administration

  • Monitor manpower cost, budgeting, and cost optimization initiatives

  • Control contractor costs and improve workforce productivity

  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in payroll processes

G. Employee Engagement, Welfare & Culture Building

  • Drive employee engagement, retention strategies, and grievance handling systems

  • Ensure statutory welfare facilities and employee benefit programs

  • Build a high-performance, accountable, and positive work culture

  • Strengthen communication and alignment across all levels of the organization

H. HR Digitalization & Analytics

  • Implement HRMS and automate HR processes

  • Drive HR MIS, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making

  • Track key metrics such as attrition, productivity, absenteeism, and manpower cost

  • Use analytics to support strategic HR decisions

I. Strategic Contribution (Critical for Growth Phase)

  • Support organizational scaling in line with future growth targets

  • Build a leadership pipeline for the next 3–5 years

  • Align HR systems with FORNNAX’s global expansion strategy

  • Contribute to making the new facility one of the most efficient and professionally managed manufacturing setups

4. Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Strong experience in plant HR, industrial relations, and organization development

  • Proven experience in handling large workforces and shop floor HR

  • Experience in plant setup, expansion, or high-growth environments preferred
