• Ensuring optimal space utilization while maintaining accessibility and operational efficiency. 

2. Understanding Project Requirements

• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and project managers to gather design specifications.
• Interpreting technical documents, sketches, and rough drafts to develop accurate layouts.
• Incorporating ergonomic, safety, and maintenance considerations into the design. 

3. Compliance with Standards and Regulations

• Ensuring that layout designs comply with industry codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Maintaining consistency with ISO, ASME, or relevant drafting standards for accuracy and reliability.
• Adapting layouts to meet environmental, structural, and operational constraints. 

4. Coordination with Other Departments

• Working closely with electrical, civil, and piping teams to ensure proper alignment and integration of systems.
• Updating layouts based on feedback from site engineers and project stakeholders.
• Addressing conflicts and making necessary adjustments for seamless execution. 

5. Revising and Updating Drawings

• Making modifications based on design changes, client requirements, or site conditions.
• Maintaining an organized record of layout revisions and final approvals.
• Ensuring that all drawings are up to date and aligned with project progress. 

6. Site Visits and Measurements

• Conducting on-site inspections and measurements to validate layout accuracy as and when required.
• Updating drawings based on as-built conditions and real-time changes.
• Assisting in the installation and alignment of mechanical systems as per layout plans. 

7. Software Utilization

• Using ZWCAD software for layout preparation.
• Keeping up with new drafting tools and technologies to enhance efficiency.
